I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I will be poet-in-residence at the University of Loughborough for the academic year 2019/20!
The University of Loughborough has a fantastic creative writing course, headed by Kerry Featherstone and Barbara Cooke, and I am honoured that they considered me for this position. I have previously attended a reading at the Uni, and found it to be very welcoming, professional, with a great set of inquisitive and talented students.
In my role, I will give readings, run workshops, and hold open-door, drop-in sessions offering advice and guidance. At the end of my term, I will act as co-judge for the University’s annual poetry competition, the Overton Poetry Prize.
The residency does not begin until October 2019, but when it does, I will be sure to post updates on here.
That’s fantastic news. Well done
